Music Shaman
Welcome to my website , put some gentle, quiet music on and take a stroll through my words - nice of you to visit, thank you. As a Music Medicine Man working through the sacred wisdoms of music, I have developed over many years my own unique style of practical spiritual teaching, supportive healing and personal development workshops and one to one sessions through the sacred catalyst that is music. Using creative written and drawn expressions and free form dance and with a compassionate, sometimes humorous and wise hand, my work supports our inner journey and adventure of discovery, towards greater self-understanding which culminates in more harmonious well being.
Ranging from my one day weekend workshops, 'Music, the Sacred Catalyst', which now include Totem Animal Wisdom, which are described as very advanced personal growth, healing, sacred inner journeying and creative expression development ~ across a whole spectrum from Corporate Staff Training Sessions in relaxation and creativity development; to personal ‘musi-heal ' support sessions, public talks and demonstrations, meditation group leader and author, my work acknowledges, supports and honours and supports the inner journey of discovery to the Sacred Divine Essence within each of us.
During my three month tour around NZ at the latter part of 2010, it became very apparent to me that there are a number of 'spiritual teachers' out there and others who embrace and choose a journey of service to others, who may well have forgotten that they, too, need to learn, and need to find time to keep growing and nurturing themselves, whilst seeking to be of service to others. There are those, also, who might like to take on board that being a teacher means far more than good intentions and repeating the old and unprogressive teachings of the past. Good intentions without genuine wisdom and understanding are really worth very little, and a change in one's ideas, or at least being open to the possibility of changing one's present beliefs is a very powerful ally...
It is all so very interesting, in these times of great challenge and change ~ bearing in mind the great challenge that Christchurch, NZ, faces at this time, and more recently, Japan...
The Earth Mother is not angry with us you know, but She, too, has her journey...
Do not mistake these words for ego or arrogance - with the black wolf as one of my totems, please remember that the wolf represents the teacher who works for the upliftment of the whole tribe, not for self gain, and is very aware of family, our human family ~ and this is the space I am coming from... Please be very aware that this great wisdom, so often through the sacred catalyst that is music, is both my great blessing and privalege to share to those that come searching...
